How to prepare a corporate live stream
The checklist we run before every broadcast: connectivity, sound, a real plan B, and the three things everyone forgets.
A live show is won the day before. This is the list we bring to every event.
1. Wired connection
Venue wifi is an act of faith. Ask for a dedicated network cable and test the real upload speed. A stable 1080p broadcast needs at least 10 Mbps up, double that if you want redundancy.
2. Sound before picture
People forgive a mediocre image. They don’t forgive not understanding what is said. Take audio from the room desk, never from the camera, and always carry a backup microphone.
3. A plan B you can run in thirty seconds
A second data line, a holding scene ready to go, and someone who knows how to trigger it. If plan B needs a meeting, it isn’t a plan B.
4. The three things everyone forgets
Platform access early enough to test it, the person who will moderate questions, and who gives the order to start.
